Public weighing in on police body cameras
In 2015, the Colorado Springs Police Department won a grant to fund the purchase of body-worn cameras.
Since then they have asked residents to provide input through a survey aboutbody-worn cameras. Now the department has developed a draft policy governing the use of body-worn cameras and is seeking the community’s input regarding the policy.
