Pueblo grass fire contained
A grass fire that was burning near the Pueblo Motorsports Park has been contained.
The fire burned five acres. Two adults were issued citations.
No buildings were threatened and no people were hurt.
Firefighters were still mopping up hot spots Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters initially thought there were two fires in the area. They say the confusion was caused by smoke from a second, prescribed burn on Fort Carson.
The motorsports park is located near Highway 50 and N. Pueblo Boulevard.
