Skier dies at Telluride Ski Resort
For the second time this season, a skier died in Telluride.
The San Miguel County sheriff’s office said the latest accident happened Saturday afternoon at Telluride Ski Resort.
George Nolan, 69, from Greenwood, South Carolina went skiing with his family. Deputies said he ran into trees and died, but the investigation is ongoing.
Earlier this month, a skier from Colorado Springs died at Gold Hill Ski Area at Telluride. William Scott Elligott, 49, died after losing control and ended up in a wooded area.
