Northwest Colorado Springs apartment fire contained
The Colorado Springs Fire Department fought a fire at a northwest side apartment complex Friday afternoon.
The fire burned a chimney and in the roof area at the Whispering Hills Apartments, which is in the 200 block of Rim View Drive just off of S. Rockrimmon Boulevard.
The fire is now contained. The cause is under investigation.
