Scammers taking advantage of Pueblo’s red light cameras to rip people off
The Pueblo Police Department warns that you will never be notified by email if you are caught on camera running a red light.
Police say scammers are sending fraudulent emails to people claiming that they were photographed running red lights and ordering them to open a zip file or send money and gift cards. The zip file contains a virus that will infect the computer of anyone who opens it.
If you are caught by a red light camera, you will ONLY be notified by American Traffic Solutions via the U.S. Postal Service
