Fire fighters battle structure fire in Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs fire fighters are working to put out a structure fire west of down town Colorado Springs.
It’s happening off of the 200 block of Wolfe Ave at a single family home.
Multiple fire engines were called to the scene to put the flames out.
As of now, we know at least two people were home when the fire started. A 94-year-old man was taken to the hospital with burns.
Investigators believe it started as a mattress fire.
