So far, snow good
Since our big snow at the beginning of February, it’s been fairly quiet, and dry, in the lower elevations.
But what about the mountains? The latest snowpack reports are in and it’s not bad. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service just issued the latest on information on Colorado snowpack.
We’re at 94 percent statewide. But, in the southeast, totals are only at 88 percent. The South Platte region is the highest at 98 percent of normal.
And – we’re not done yet. March and April are often Colorado’s snowiest months, so stay tuned.
