Investigators are searching for answers. Three people are dead after a man goes on a shooting rampage in Colorado Springs and the shooter was killed by police.

The names and ages of the victims have not been released and police have not released the shooters name either.

So far police are unsure of a motive for the attack. It all started around 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 31 at a home in the 200 block of north Prospect Street.

Witnesses say they saw a man try to set the home on fire. One person on a bike was killed north of that location and witnesses say two people were then shot and killed at a home on Platte Ave. The shooter was killed by police on Washsatch Ave.

At this point, police are unsure of the shooter’s motive, but say they’re looking at all pieces of evidence, including those who witnessed the shootings first hand.
