Uber delivers kittens to Colorado Springs businesses

About a dozen people got a mid-day pick-me-up on Thursday when kittens were delivered on their doorstep.

Uber partnered with the Humane Society for the first-ever event in Colorado Springs.

Businesses around town were able to request kittens through the Uber app, and a driver delivered them on-demand for a $30 snuggle fee.

Those who were lucky enough to get the special delivery said it was a welcome visit.

Kittens bring so much joy to anyone. And I think when you’re in a work environment that can be high stress and you see kittens it kind of melts all your worries away,” said Brittany Fleshman, Morning Star Senior Living Executive Director.

If you missed the event, don’t worry. Uber plans to have another kitten delivery day in the near future.
