Gunshot fired through floor of Springs apartment
Several people, including juveniles, were arrested after someone fired a gunshot through the floor of a Colorado Springs apartment.
It happened around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday at a four-plex in the 300 block of Gahart Drive.
A woman called police saying she heard a loud gunshot and and then saw a large hole in her ceiling.
When officers arrived at the scene, they had to knock several times on the door of the apartment above. Ten people were inside, and no one claimed responsibility for firing the weapon. They also denied hearing a gunshot, according to police.
Three juveniles in the apartment had active warrants for their arrest. A fourth juvenile was a reported runaway.
An adult man also had a felony warrant for his arrest, and an adult woman had a signed complaint that needed to be served.
It’s still not known who fired the gunshot through the floor of one apartment and the ceiling of another.
No one was hurt.
