Marching bands vie for top title in Pueblo

High school marching bands competed for the state title in Pueblo Monday.

The top bands in every class size battled it out at CSU Pueblo.

Harrison High School student Amber McPherson said she is confident her band can pull off a win. “I think our band did the best we have done this season, and we’ve done so much better than we thought, and I think we’ll do really well tonight, too,” she said.

Once the champions are named, each band is invited out onto the field for one more performance.
