BOOM: Colorado’s population explodes
Data from the latest U.S. Census Bureau shows Colorado’s population saw the biggest increase in 2013-2014 than it ever has before.
200,358 people moved to the Columbine State during that year alone.
Denver County saw the largest influx of people moving in by adding 15, 461 new people to its population.
Census information in 2010 shows Denver County’s population was 600,158.
In July of 2014, it rang in at 663,862.
El Paso County was fourth on the list of largest increases as it saw 8,066 people move in to county limits.
That’s a 1.23% increase in population.
