Pueblo drivers queue up for a shot to fight flu

Parkview Medical Center hosted its annual drive through flu shot clinic Thursday.

Nurses say the drive through clinic makes it cheaper and quicker for people who are in a hurry to get protected against the flu.

Robert Gardner of Pueblo West says he never misses getting a flu shot. “We absolutely try to get it early because it seems like if you are going to catch it, it seems to happen early on in the season,” Gardner said.

Nearly 100 people took advantage of this year’s clinic.
