Police ask for tips in boat theft
The Fountain Police Department is looking for a boat that was stolen last weekend.
The theft was reported at around 3 p.m. on September 27, 2015.
Police say the boat and trailer were taken from I-25 near the Ray Nixon Power Plant.
The boat has registration number SLED3087E888 and the trailer has Colorado license plate number 558CQH. The trailer’s VIN is 1P9B02220J1018115.
The bottom of the boat is painted pearl white and the top of the boat is black with smoke streaks.
The driver’s seat has the initial “C” and the passenger seat has the letter “T” embroidered in the back rest.
