Two accused in burglary at murder-suicide home arrested

Colorado Springs police arrested two suspects, accused of breaking into a home where a murder-suicide took place.

Cassandra Marshall and Jonathan Mazzella, both 23, were taken into custody Wednesday night at a home in the 4500 block of Dewey Drive, according to police.

Officers are still searching for a third suspect, 39-year-old Eugene Mathew Griffin.

Police say the trio broke into a home in the 1300 block of Babcock Road on April 14. The home had recently been the site of a murder-suicide.

The three face charges of burglary and providing false information to a pawn broker.

Anyone with information on Mathew’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers 634-STOP.
