New solar garden In Colorado Springs
Once completed the Pikes Peak Solar Garden will make up the largest community garden in the nation.
Sun Share, a company founded in Colorado Springs, built its first solar garden for Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
Since then two more community solar gardens have been build throughout the area.
The current project under construction will mark the company’s fifth solar garden.
These solar gardens give subscribers all the benefits of solar energy without the extra expense of buying and installing their own panels.
The city of Manitou Springs is one of the customers taking full advantage of the green energy.
When finished the new solar garden will provide Manitou with enough energy to run all the city municipal buildings.
