New Details on a Deadly Hit and Run in Colorado Springs

Colorado State Patrol has released additional information on a deadly hit and run accident that happened early Friday (11/28/14) morning in Colorado Springs.

Investigators say it happened on Hwy. 115, near mile marker 41, around 4:00 am.

That’s near Titus road, leading into Fort Carson.

Investigators say a vehicle was going northbound on Colorado 115 in the right lane.

A pedestrian was walking in that right lane when he was hit.

The driver of the vehicle involved then left the scene.

The pedestrian was identified as a 39 year-old male from Colorado Springs.

He died at the scene.

Troopers do not have a vehicle description at this time.
