Police: Tired turkey transporter tips truck in Trinidad
Trinidad Police said a big rig that was carrying frozen turkeys tipped over Wednesday after its driver fell asleep behind the wheel.
The accident happened on I-25 at around 9:45 p.m. on November 5, 2014.
Police said Boualay Signothahack, 61, of Henderson was transporting a load of frozen turkeys when he apparently fell asleep and lost control of the truck.
Signothahack was not seriously injured, but his truck, a sign and a guardrail were badly damaged.
Alcohol, drugs and excessive speed are not believed to have been factors in the crash.
