Man pleads guilty to abusing girlfriend’s son
A Colorado Springs man has pleaded guilty to child abuse resulting in serious injury after he was accused of torturing and threatening his girlfriend’s teenage sons.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reports 30-year-old Lee Duane Kizer accepted a plea agreement in court Tuesday.
He pleaded guilty to a single count of child abuse.
Kizer faces 10 to 15 years in prison and five years’ parole in his Jan. 6 sentencing hearing.
The teens told police Kizer made them kneel in a corner and beat them.
