Fountain Police looking for robbery suspect
Fountain Police are looking for a suspect who they said stole a gun from a car Friday morning.
Police said it happened in the Walmart parking lot off of Highway 85/87. Officers released a surveillance photo of the suspect.
Fountain Police have identified the suspect. But he is under 18 years old. So his name is not available, police said.
The victim spoke with KRDO Newschannel 13 and said the robbery happened around 11 a.m. while he was shopping. He said the suspect broke into the car, dug through it and found the gun between the seat and center console. Then he went back into Walmart to find his friend who was cashing a check and left the store.
