Dallas Police apologize to Bronco Aqib Talib for mistake about arrest
The Dallas Police Department is apologizing to a Broncos player after mistakenly saying he was arrested Sunday.
Dallas Police tweeted that Broncos defensive back Aqib Talib was arrested for public intoxication early Sunday. But it was actually his brother, 31-year-old Yaqub Talib.
Police said Yaqub Talib was arrested for throwing bottles, causing a disturbance at a Dallas nightclub around 1:45 Sunday morning.
Aqib Talib was one of the Broncos prized free agents the team signed this year, inking a six-year, $57 million dollar deal in March.
