A Red Flag Warning for high fire danger has been issued for all of southeastern Colorado.

The warning runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014.

A Red Flag Warning is issued when hot temperatures, low humidity and gusty winds combine to create extremely high fire danger. Extreme caution with sparks and flames is urged when a Red Flag Warning is in effect.

Tuesday’s Red Flag Warning includes Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Walsenburg, Trinidad, La Junta, Lamar, Springfield and the surrounding areas.
