Family displaced by fire in Colorado Springs

Fire investigators report that a garage fire broke around 4:14 Tuesday (6/3/14) morning at a home in the 2100 block of Farnsworth Drive, near Astrozon Blvd.

Investigators are trying to find out what started the fire. 30 firefighters arrived at the scene to put the fire out. The fire was put out in half-an-hour.

2 children and 2 adults were in the house when the fire started, but they made it out without injury. However, smoke damage is preventing them from returning home. The Red Cross is helping the family out.

Commuters are advised to avoid Farnsworth Drive this morning.
