Pilot survives rough landing near soccer fields
The pilot of a single-engine plane survived a rough landing near some soccer fields in Boulder, Colorado.
Boulder police spokeswoman Laurie Ogden said the plane landed on its belly about 3 p.m. Wednesday near the soccer fields about a half mile northwest of Boulder Municipal Airport.
The pilot was able to get out of the plane and was transported to a hospital.
Federal Aviation Administration officials said the plane was a Piper PA-25.
