Deputies investigate suspicious death in Security-Widefield

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death in Security-Widefield.

Deputies were on scene in the 6800 block of Harding St. early Monday morning (5/12/14) investigating.

Deputies say they got a 911 call around 4 a.m. When they arrived on scene, they found a man in his 20s dead on a doorstep. Deputies say the man had no obvious signs of trauma.

A woman who lives at the home tried to save the man’s life, deputies said.

Investigators said he may have showed up at the home with a different woman overnight. They are also talking to people who were in contact with him.
