Traffic stop yields drugs, guns, arrests in Pueblo
Pueblo Police recovered drugs, guns, and money and arrested three men during a traffic stop early Thursday (5/8/14).
An officer pulled over a car for speeding at US 50 and Wills Blvd. at 1:23 a.m.
Police say they found over $3,000 cash, around 3 grams of meth, around 7.8 grams of heroin and around 8.1 grams of prescription medication in the car. They say they also found a semi-automatic 9mm Uzi that was reported stolen out of Kansas, a Chinese made SKS rifle and a handgun.
Three people who were in the car were arrested.
Police say Johnny Luna, 39, is known to have ties to local street gangs. Steven Luna, 22, and Leonard Lovato, 24, were also arrested.
All three men were arrested and are facing drugs and weapons charges.
Police say Luna also had a failure to comply warrant out for his arrest.
