Third sexual assault arrest within one week in Conejos County
A man from Manassa is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl.
The Conejos County Sheriff’s Office says that Ryan Jaramillo, 28, went to the police station in Manassa to confess on March 21, 2014.
The sheriff’s office was contacted because Jaramillo told police that the alleged crimes happened in an unincorporated area of Conejos County.
According to the sheriff’s office, Jaramillo said the relationship started sometime in 2012 and ended in June 2013, but the alleged victim told deputies that it went on for about five years.
Jaramillo was arrested on April 30, 2014 and is being held on $50,000 bond. He is facing charges of sexual assault on a child.
