Adult bookstore robbed early Thursday morning
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed an adult bookstore early Thursday morning.
The store, Romantix, is located at the intersection of B Street and LaShelle Way, just north of Fort Carson.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the suspect robbed the store at gunpoint at about 12:30 a.m. The female clerk later said that he took an unknown amount of cash and ran north. The man escaped despite a search by deputies and a K9 unit.
The Sheriff’s Office hopes to get more details about the holdup from a customer in the store at the time, and from the store’s surveillance camera.
