Woman killed in Hwy 50 crash
A woman from Caon City was killed in a crash on Highway 50 Friday evening.
It happened at the intersection of Highway 50 and Mackenzie Avenue.
Police said a 1999 Dodge Durango, driven by Barbara Benish, was traveling westbound when a 1992 Nissan Sentra, driven by Sally Kruse, made a left hand turn. Benish was not able to stop and hit Kruse’s car.
Kruse was pronounced dead at the scene. Benish, and a 16 year-old passenger were not badly hurt.
The crash is under investigation.
