Delays continue in US 24 cone zone
Construction and an accident contributed to delays for drivers on westbound US 24 between Colorado Springs and Cascade Wednesday (2/26/14) evening.
One commuter told us that Wednesday’s cone zone traffic was the worst that he has seen since a project to divert flood waters from the Waldo Canyon Fire burn scar away from the highway began on February 18.
The Colorado State Patrol said an accident contributed to Wednesday’s delays.
