Police investigate deadly shooting
A man who was shot early Saturday morning (2/15/14) has died in the hospital.
Colorado Springs police have identified him as 20-year-oldDevante Hill.
The El Paso County Coroner completed an autopsy and ruled Hill’s death a homicide.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of S. Airport Rd. in Colorado Springs. Police say they were investigating a shots fired call when they found Hill with a gunshot wound.
Colorado Springs police said they do not have any suspects at this time.
The Colorado Springs Police Department says this is the fourth homicide in 2014.This time last year, the number of homicides was also four.
