Shots fired in parking lot of Colo. Springs high school

Colorado Springs Police are investigating a shots fired call at Mitchell High School Thursday (2/13/14) night.

Police were called to the school shortly after 9 p.m. A witness reported seeing several people arguing in the west parking lot of the school. Seconds later, the witness heard multiple shots fired and saw two vehicles leave the area. Police say several people who were possibly involved in the incident were also seen running toward a nearby apartment complex.

Police canvassed the area and found multiple items of evidence from the scene.

No injuries or property damage were reported.

One of the vehicles that was possibly involved is described as a late-90’s red Chevrolet Astro Van with a temporary tag.
