Principal says Palmer safety threat rumors unfounded
Colorado Springs School District 11 posted a statement on social media Friday (2/14/14) saying that rumors about a safety threat at Palmer High School are unfounded.
The statement, which was written by Palmer Principal Lara Disney, says quote “The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff are of our utmost concern, therefore this rumor is being taken very seriously and District 11 security, along with the Colorado Springs Police Department, are investigating this situation.”
The statement goes on to say that the school is doing everything possible to keep students safe.
