TreeCycle gets rid of your tree, offers free mulch

El Paso County is gearing up to gather up your old Christmas tree.

There will be seven TreeCycle program drop-off locations this year. Only live trees are accepted and all ornaments and other decorations must be removed.

The trees will be ground up into mulch, which will be given away for free at the TreeCycle drop-off sites. Anyone who wants free mulch needs to bring their own tools and load their own vehicle.
