Denver airport busy but no major disruptions

Denver’s airport is busy with holiday travelers but storms on the East Coast aren’t causing significant disruptions.

About 158,000 travelers are expected to pass through Denver International Airport on Wednesday, about 9 percent more than an average day.

Travelers were waiting about 5 minutes to pass through security. The airport’s backup parking lot is open because the regular lots are full.
