Colorado Springs Police search for sex assault suspect
Colorado Springs Police are searching for a man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman at gunpoint on Sunday (11/24/13) night.
According to the 37 year old woman, she was walking near the Ivywild Inn at 1529 S. Nevada Ave. after 10 p.m, on her way home when a man kidnapped her.
The woman says the man took her to the Chipita Park area east of Colorado Springs and sexually assaulted her before letting her go.
She says he was a white man in his 50’s, standing 6’0 to 6’2 tall with an average build and receeding gray hair. The man was driving an early 2000’s bright blue pick-up truck.
