Woman leaving restaurant robbed at gunpoint

Police say a woman was robbed as she left a southeast side restaurant Monday morning (11/4/13).

The crime is reported to have happened in the 1800 block of S. Academy Blvd., near the intersection of S. Academy and Chelton Road.

Police say the woman had just walked out of the restaurant when a man armed with a gun confronted her and demanded her purse. The victim told police she gave the man her purse and he took off running.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10” tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds. The man had long curly brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue jacket, grey hoody, blue jeans and black work boots.
