Loved ones asking for help to find a couple from Pueblo

A couple from Pueblo is declared missing in Texas.

Killeen police officers say E.J. and Courtney Gray were missing on Sunday. E.J. is declared AWOL from the Army and Courtney didn’t show up to work on Monday. Police are looking for a dark blue or black Volkswagen.

Friends and family said E.J. and Courtney Gray are popular in Pueblo, but when they went missing on Sunday, people were shocked.

Bruce Nicolli is Courtney’s father, he said E.J.’s father is in Texas looking for the couple.

Nicolli said he was puzzled on why the couple went missing.

“They’re two great kids, both of them never tried this before and I don’t know what happened,” Nicolli said.

AnaLinda Bermudez is a friend of the Gray’s and she wants the couple to come home.

“We all just want them to come back, we just want to find them and we miss them very much,” Bermudez said.

Nicolli has a message for his daughter and son-in-law.

“Just come back, just get a hold of us. If you’re in trouble, give us a line, we will get you out of it, we’ll take care of it,” Nicolli said.

Nicolli said since E.J. is AWOL, he has 30 days to turn himself in and he won’t be in a lot of trouble.

If you have any information leading to the whereabouts of E.J. and Courtney Gray, you can call Killeen police at (254) 501-8800
