Pueblo plow crews prepare for storm
Pueblo is gearing up for the snow.
The director of Pueblo Public Works, Earl Wilkinson, says the city’s first priority is to remove snow and ice from bridges and to clear school bus routes. Wilkinson says residential areas are not a top priority. If Pueblo gets hit hard by snow, he says the city will have at least seven snow plows out, clearing the roads.
“I’ve seen a couple cars drive off in the ditch already today,” Doreen Fletcher said.
Danielle Hartman said, “The slushy stuff is a little bit slick. Your tires get caught in some ruts.”
Wilkinson says he doesn’t expect any major snow drifting within the city.
