Couple searching for stolen truck
A couple who just moved to Colorado Springs from Oklahoma had their truck and several expensive items stolen Sunday afternoon while eating in Old Colorado City.
James Dyal and Donna Kaegle said they parked their Ford F-350 in the parking lot behind Meadow Muffins around 2:30 p.m. By the time they left around 4 p.m. the truck was gone.
The bed of the truck was carrying a generator, tools and a hitch for their trailer.
They reported the truck stolen but are sharing photos of their truck because they are new in town and desperate to get the hitch back. Without it they’ll be forced to spend more money on moving their trailer from the hotel they’re staying at.
The truck has Oklahoma plates 242JLL. Dyal said the truck is a Super Duty King Ranch Lariat.
