Two arrested after stabbing in Colo. Springs
Colorado Springs Police arrested two people Sunday night after a stabbing at an apartment complex in the 3300 block of East Fountain Boulevard.
A woman called police around 10:00 p.m. to report she could hear a large fight coming from the third floor of the apartment building.
When officers arrived, they found a man in the hallway with a lot of blood on his clothing. They forced entry into an apartment unit and found a large amount of blood throughout the apartment but no apparent victims. Officers learned a few minutes later that two stabbing victims had shown up at Memorial Hospital.
Both victims suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers identified one of the men in the apartment, Daqwan Toussaint, as the stabbing suspect.
Toussaint is charged with 1st Degree Assault.
A woman, Brittany Cranmer, was also arrested and charged with Accessory to Commit 1st Degree Assault.
Both suspects were booked into CJC.
