The bond for an armed robbery suspect in Pueblo has been increased to $1 million.

Detectives have linked 25-year-old Alfred Montano to 11 different armed robberies around the city of Pueblo. In a 20-page affidavit, a judge increased the bond from the initial $250,000 after detectives tied Montano to the additional robberies.

Montano was arrested on Jan. 19 after a home invasion investigation. Police say Montano broke into an elderly couple’s home in Pueblo in December.

Ballagut later confessed to being responsible for one of those robberies. Police found Montano the next day in Fowler.

Montano is currently being held in the Pueblo County Jail.
