Park planned to honor slain Westminster girl
Officials in Westminster hope to raise $150,000 to honor a school girl who was abducted and killed.
The city has already renamed a park the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park and improvements are planned, including new swings and gardens.
According to the Denver Post, the total cost is estimated at $450,000. The city has already committed $200,000 in cash and donations and the Jefferson County Commission is donating $100,000.
Austin Sigg has been charged as an adult, including a murder charge in the case.
