Pueblo shooting victim identified
A man was seriously injured in a shooting on Pueblo’s east side early Sunday.
The shooting happened at the Stage Coach Mobile Home park in the 1900 block of Constitution Road.
Police were called to the mobile home park at 5:38 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a 36-year-old man who was shot. He has been identified as Manuel Mercado.
The victim suffered serious injuries. He remains in the hospital Monday morning in critical condition.
Police spent all day in the neighborhood investigating, and the search for clues continued well into Sunday evening.
