Police investigating overnight shooting
Colorado Springs Police are investigating an overnight shooting after a man showed up at Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound.
Police say the victim showed up at memorial about 45 minutes after a report of gunshots on Chapman Drive.
Officers responded to a call about gunshots at around 10 Tuesday night at the Pine Creek Apartments.
They didn’t find a victim or any evidence of a shooting, but about 45 minutes later a victim showed up at the hospital.
Police say the person shot is expected to be okay but suffered serious injuries because of the gunshot wound.
Police returned to the apartment with more information and found several shell casings in the parking lot.
