Fowler man killed in crash
A man has died after rolling his car off an Otero County Road, according to state troopers.
Officials said the crash happened on Otero County Road KK. 75 at about 12:35 p.m. Sunday.
The driver was about one mile south of Fowler when his tires went off the side of the road, investigators said.
Officials said he over-corrected and his Acura Legacy rolled halfway and struck a power pole. The driver died at the scene of the crash according to state patrol.
He was identified by officials as Floyd Aragon of Fowler. Investigators said Aragon was wearing his seat belt, but not properly.
No one else was in the car at the time of crash.
Officials do not believe alcohol or drugs are factors in this crash.
