Police make arrest after several car burglaries

Colorado Springs police arrested a man early Tuesday morning in connection with several early morning car burglaries.

Police say 19-year-old Daniel Trujillo was arrested in the 900 block of Carlisle Street shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Trujillo is accused of breaking in several vehicles in the 3000 block of North Institute Street.

Police were able to recover some of the stolen property and returned it to the rightful owners.
