2 arrested made after overnight armed robbery

A couple is robbed at a Circle K Store in Colorado Springs overnight. It happened just before 2:30 on Sunday morning at the S. Circle Dr. location.

The victim told officers she and her husband had been at the gas pumps at the Circle K Store when the suspects approached her in their vehicle. A female passenger asked to borrow her cell phone. The victim gave the female her cell phone.

Shortly thereafter the female and her friend, a male, tried to leave the area. The victim fought with the suspects, trying to get her cell phone back. While fighting with the suspects, the male was able to remove some cash from the victim’s jacket pocket. The male then pointed a gun at the victim’s head. The victim quit fighting and the suspects left the area with the victim’s money.

The victim called the policeand gave them a description of the suspects and their vehicle. That vehicle was spotted in thearea of S Circle Dr and E Fountain Blvd.

Police pulled the vehicle over and arrested Hiram Church, a 49 year old male, Deja Moss, a 32 year old female. The victim and a witness identified the male and female detained as the people involved in the crime.

A realistic CO2 gun was located in the vehicle, as well as other items linking the suspects to the crime.

There were no injuries.
