Pueblo love triangle ends in deadly shooting
A man is killed at the 7-Eleven at Northern Ave. and Ormen Ave. in Pueblo.
The shooting took place around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
The Pueblo county coroner identified the victim as Thomas Abeyta, 39.
Police tell KRDO that Matthew Aldaz, 25, shot his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend multiple times.
Aldaz left the gas station in a black Escalade. He was being chased and rolled his car. He is currently in the hospital with serious injuries according to police.
