Paul Ryan rally in Colorado Springs
GOP Vice Presidential choice, Paul Ryan was pushing his ticket’s message to voters in Colorado Springs. Ryan held a rally at the National Museum of World War Two Aviation which is near the old Colorado Springs Airport.
Ryan told a packed crowd, “We want you to have a very clear choice. We don’t want this campaign as a campaign of a lesser of two evils. That’s what President Obama is doing.” The Wisconsin Congressman also pressed he and Mitt Romney’s five point plan to jump start the American economy. It includes energy independence by exploring and using more of America’s traditional energy resources and alternatives, better education for children and adult re-training. Ryan also wants better trade agreements to hold America’s trade partners more accountable and push more of America’s products into other countries. He also wants to do what it takes to get out of our debt crisis. Congressman Ryan said it’s not a complicated message, “It’s really simple. We simply have to stop spending money that we don’t have. We have to cut spending and put this budget on the path to being balanced.”
The VP choice also categorized President Obama’s executive performance like this, “He’s run out of ideas and unfortunately it’s gone from hope and change to attack and blame.”
